I love shopping online, but I HATE paying shipping costs. I will search in a million places before I pay shipping and sometimes I will delay my order or even cancel my order if I cannot find free shipping.
**Remember when you shop- go through www.shopathome.com and if you are new to shop at home- link here so I can get credit : http://www.shopathome.com/?IAFCG=q7CKc9sHmZ6NmKP6GgmtSw==
If the store I am shopping at is not offering free shipping I first google 'online coupon codes for (the store). Often times the following helpful websites will pull up: http://www.retailmenot.com and www.couponcabin.com. These sites will often times have available coupon codes for certain stores. Sometimes you will find free shipping codes but other times you may find a % off code that will take the place the free shipping code you were looking for.
If I cannot find a coupon code, I will turn to http://www.amazon.com/gp/prime?ie=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0 . It is $79/year, however there are ways to get a free trial or if you are a student, possibly receive it for free. Take a look.
Another source is www.ebay.com . You never know what you will find on EBAY and for how much.
The other day I was offered a free year at www.shoprunner.com . I have to say that I am glad it was free. As of now it looks like they do not have a huge store selection that you can shop through. They did have Toys R US, however.
Keep in mind, if you are shopping at www.walmart.com and I think www.target.com some of your surrounding stores will offer 'ship to store' for free! This is a good deal because it will save you time and you will be able to avoid strolling through the aisles.
I have noticed that most stores begin to offer more free shipping as the holidays near.
