A tid bit that is hard to follow when you have lots of kids (or even one kid) or the slightest distraction.
As you are at the register checking out- make sure to try your best to FOCUS on the cashier as she/he scans your coupons.
Make sure that every coupon is scanned and if you think that a coupon was not scanned properly, speak up and ask.
Today I was at Target and had a 'feeling' that the cashier did not scan two of my coupons, but I did not speak up. Sure enough, when I got in the car I noticed that she had not scanned 2 $1 off coupons. It was not the end of the world and life goes on BUT it is money ;g
So pay attention and speak up.
