Once you complete your coupon binder, you will discover that you have a new BFF! Think of your coupon binder like you think of your purse; it goes where you go! Even if you think that you are running into Target or Walmart to grab some shampoo, take it with you. You never know what type of sale or clearance item that you will find that you could possibly match with a coupon.
Just like you know your best friend in and out, you need to know your coupon binder in and out! Before you go shopping, eye over your binder and take a mental note as to the coupons that you have. Doing this will be helpful when and if you pass by a possible bargain.
Take care of your binder. Make sure that you periodically (as you file new coupons) look at the expiration dates of the coupons that you currently have and remove any that have expired.
When I go shopping, I like to have my binder in the front seat of the buggy, open and ready for me to flip through. This makes it easy to find specific coupons that I may be looking for.
